Clean out, clean up and give back

Spring is the perfect time for a clean-up, and we’re making it easy for Denman Prospect residents to clear out unwanted items while also supporting local families and charities.

Join us for Community Clean-Up Day, where residents can dispose of eligible household waste in the skip bins provided and donate quality pre-loved items to local organisations.

A friendly reminder

With almost 6,000 residents in our community, please be mindful of the volume of items you bring. To ensure we can accommodate everyone, we ask that you only bring items that can comfortably fit in your car boot.

Need to dispose of bulky items?

Canberra households are eligible for one free bulky waste collection of up to 2 cubic metres each financial year. The service is ideal for hard waste that is too large for your kerbside bins, such as old furniture and broken appliances.

You can book bulky waste collection with ACT City Services here.
